Where is AR Electric located, and what areas do you serve?

We're based in Brandon, South Dakota, and serve Brandon, Sioux Falls, Tea, Valley Springs, Renner, Canton, and the surrounding area. If you're not sure whether you're in our service area, just give us a call — we're happy to check.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. AR Electric is a licensed, insured electrical contractor. We're happy to provide documentation on request before any work begins.

Do you work on both residential and commercial projects?

We do. Most of our work is residential service, repair, and remodel wiring, but we also take on commercial buildouts and agricultural electrical projects — shops, outbuildings, and farm operations included.

How quickly can you get to a repair?

For most service calls we can get someone out within a day or two, and we'll always give you an honest answer on timing when you call rather than leaving you guessing. If something's urgent (no power to a room, a burning smell, a tripped main), tell us when you call and we'll do what we can to prioritize it.

Can I get an estimate before you come out?

For a lot of common jobs, yes — use the estimate tool on this site to get a real price range in a couple of minutes, no waiting for a callback. For anything unusual or hard to describe over the phone, we're glad to take a look in person before giving you a number.

Do you offer new-construction wiring for builders?

Yes, we work directly with builders and homeowners on new construction and full remodels — rough-in through finish, with device grade and pricing discussed upfront so there are no surprises when the job's done.
